The JAMIN confectionery firm was founded in 1907. All the specialist knowledge that has been handed down over the generations and their enthusiasm for constant innovation goes into the making of their cakes, pastries, chocolates and candies at the bakery in Frankfurt, Sachsenhausen. Included in the range are, of course, Frankfurt's traditional 'Bethmännchen' (marzipan cookies).
In 2015 the firm picked up on another tradition and began making 'Frankfurter Brenten' (traditional almond cookies). Their history goes way back to the Middle Ages. This, the oldest of Frankfurt's sweet specialities, was enjoyed as a dessert at festive meals or at tea-time and was also used as decoration on the Christmas tree.
